NYC is my home city…

It’s always been my number one and always will be my favourite city in the world. It feels comfortable, it is home.

What NYC means to me.

The reason New York City is such a special place is that it blends countless cultures together. The quality of the food is amazing, the shopping is the best in the US, and the people are all there to make the most of life.

Living in North Jersey, I had an easy commute to and from the city, which made it easy for me to grow up feeling comfortable there. Both my parents worked in the city, and when touring around with them, they’d show me the street where they had their first apartment together. My dad would bring me in on Take Your Child to Work Day and take me to the carousel in Central Park. I walked the Brooklyn Bridge with my Girl Scout troop in 4th grade, too. It's little moments like this that shape the person I am and give me the confidence to feel comfortable in such a large city. One of my favorite things now is bringing my friends from college who have never been. I love being a tour guide!
